QA Plant Technician

Office:           Boardman
Location:      Boardman, OR

Performs pre/post-op QA line checks in production areas; reviews and verifies HACCP and other quality system records; initiates, investigates and helps execute corrective/preventative action; other quality projects/duties assigned as needed.  Performs assigned QC lab testing including microbial and chemical analysis of cheese, milk, and whey.  Bachelor Degree in food or dairy science, or biology preferred.  Practical experience in a quality assurance position and/or microbiology- food testing laboratory preferred.  Full-time, graveyard shift.  Shifts and hours may vary depending on need.  Starting wage $16.43-19.53/ hr. DOE and education
