QA Technician

Department: 609 Quality Assurance
Office:           Tillamook
Location:      Tillamook, OR

Performs pre-op/post-op QA line checks in production areas, reviews and verifies HACCP and other quality system records; initiates, investigates and helps execute corrective/preventative action; other quality projects/duties assigned as needed.  Performs assigned QC lab testing including .microbial and chemical analysis of cheese, milk, whey and ice cream.  Bachelor Degree in food or dairy science, or biology preferred.  Practical experience in a quality assurance position and/or microbiology- food testing laboratory preferred.  Full-time, union position, day or swing shift.  Scheduled shifts and hours may vary depending on need.  Starting wage $14.75 – 18.17 / hr. DOE and education, in accordance with union contract.
